Bought these for my wife for Christmas. Pretty expensive for slippers, but she loves them. Her workplace is our home chasing around our 3 kids. These shoes pass the "running test." Our kids are 5 and under, so she's often running after them! Anyway...she loves them. Oh, definitely go with the size smaller. She's 7.5 and the 7s are perfect for her. The 8s would have been way too big.
